A UK gift box shop on Shopify, built so a shopper can find a gift by occasion or build their own, with delivery, dispatch and the first-order discount stated before they scroll.

What wasn't working
Hello Gifts sells gift boxes across the UK, wrapped in their signature yellow packaging, and most of the people shopping for one arrive with a date in mind and a particular person to buy for. A gift shop loses that visitor in two places: when it can't tell them whether the box will arrive in time, and when it makes them scroll the whole catalogue to find something for a birthday or a new mum. Hello Gifts also wanted a third way to shop, picking individual treats and filling a box themselves, which has to sit beside the ready-made boxes without muddling either.
What we built
A Shopify store that answers the timing question before it sells anything. A yellow announcement bar runs the current offers across the top of every page, and directly under the full-width opening photograph three lines state free UK tracked delivery over £25, same-day dispatch on orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday, and 10% off a first order with its code. The menu splits the catalogue the way people shop for a gift: Christmas, Shop Gifts, Who's It For?, Occasions and The Treat Shop. On the homepage a What Are We Celebrating? grid sends shoppers straight to birthday gifts, gifts for her, the Pamper Her collection, Christmas, fitness and wellness, and baby and new mum gifts. The Treat Shop is the build-your-own half: socks, candles, accessories, beauty bits and treats sold one at a time, with an empty Hello Gifts box to fill with them. Seasonal versions of it, like the Halloween BOO Box, drop into the same layout, and customer reviews are quoted on the homepage beside it.
